Art therapy is an evidence-based intervention which is flexible and can address goals in emotional, communication, physical, behavioural, psychological and social domains. It facilitates the exploration of new capabilities, helping transform and enhance well-being.
This service is open to those between the ages of four and eighteen years and is an approach which can help children and young people reduce worries and anxieties, deal with traumatic experiences, express their emotions and concerns and learn techniques to cope with stress.
The Centre offers individual Art Therapy sessions on a Thursday.
A referral for an appointment is taken by a member of the Family Resource Centre Staff. Please get in touch below or by our contact details.
